I have had a patellar tendon issue since I was 20 years old from skiing. Rehab never helped. I decided to try a knee strap with compression on top and bottom and it is the best thing I have ever tried. I never once experienced any knee pain while skiing or after skiing. I was able to ski all day for the first time in 30 years without worrying about pain. I cannot recommend this enough!

I wear this above my knee for IT band syndrome and it works just as well in that position. Most people do not know you can wear it higher but it made a big difference during my half marathon training. Very versatile product.

The integrated adjustable strap allows you to customize the tension on each side which is perfect for patella tracking issues like mine. I have chondromalacia and being able to fine tune the compression makes a huge difference. Other cheaper straps do not offer this level of control.

This knee support is well made, firm in the front and the soft ties have velcro to keep it in place. It fits an average to large leg and provides moderate support. It is also antimicrobial which is a bonus. Mueller makes great products and this strap is no exception.
